“Since 1983, my work has focused on storms and atmospheric phenomena. I have found in clouds and storms both the light and metaphors for the beauty and power of life. Each cloud or storm has a birth, life and death that is a change to another state—different but part of the whole; which is, I trust, a metaphor for our own existence.” Sky has exhibited extensively in the United States and abroad. Her work is included in the collections of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, several universities, and many corporate and private collectors. She is a former Dean and President of Maryland College of Art and Design and listed in Who’s Who in American Art.
