Jay Rotberg's sculptural art reflects his beliefs, interests and loves—the closeness of family, the power of faith and the unpredictable and delightful itineraries of relationships. Jay first creates his work in bronze and then recasts his original sculptures using either a bonded marble resin in a verdigris finish or in zinc with a pewter patina. Jay's daughter, Debra Rotberg Tuggle, has created several of the designs for the Rotberg "Images of Love" collection. She holds a BFA degree from the University of Georgia specializing in photography and computer graphics and has worked with major digital design corporations. "The children, mothers, and fathers are a joy to sculpt. I elongate the design to emphasize vitality and movement. I choose the abstract to nudge the viewers' imaginations, to encourage them to bring their own reality of love to the work."
