”My intense and sometimes subtle palette is a reflection of the color combinations I discover in my garden and the surrounding desert. I use luminous fiber reactive dyes to create distinctive, layered combinations of color and rhythmic, bold motifs. Color excites me. I love the painting process. Each of my hand painted silk pieces is a celebration of pattern and color; a delight to the eyes and a thrill to wear. For over twelve years I have been creating original designs of hand painted silk wearable art. All are produced in my old adobe studio in the small town of Jarales, New Mexico. My award winning designs have been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally.”
