Handmade miniature quilt by Kathie Ratcliffe. In 19th century America, Nine Patchd was one of the most popular patterns for "scrap" quilts of many variations. The color palette in this quilt was inspired by a quilt probably made in New England, c. 1870-90.
Framed with acid-free mat and conservation glass. Frame is handpainted to simulate wood grain.
