Handmade miniature quilt by Kathie Ratcliffe. Pineapple quilts were especially popular in the late 1800s. This variation was inspired by a Massachusetts quilt, c. 1875, with blocks pieced and joined to create red accents in the center field and around the border. 592 pieces.
Framed with acid-free mat and conservation glass. Frame is handpainted to simulate wood grain.
