Husband and wife team, Lisa Schwartz and Kurt Swanson, founded Pinkwater Glass in 1983 in Carmel, New York. Lisa and Kurt's distinctive designs and innovative use of color have made them leaders in high quality studio glass design and production ever since. Their glass is prominently displayed in more than a dozen permanent collections, including the American Craft Museum, the Renwick Museum, and the White House. Most recently, Lisa and Kurt won the competition to design and produce the centerpieces that were used for the 2000 Pilchuck Auction held in Seattle.
