| Elyn Blake uses sterling silver, 14k gold, brass, agates, pearls and various other stones to create her unique handcrafted jewelry. "One rainy afternoon I picked up one of my speckled stones. I knew it reminded me of something I had seen before; however, I could not quite place it. I ran into the garage and pulled out my mother's cherished antique pocketbook.
This particular pocketbook was thrown out every spring cleaning! After everyone went inside I always scurried to the curb and retrieved my mother's prize possession. I immediately began creating my own version of that pocketbook and many other antique pieces. Now each time I create another piece, I smile, look up and say, "Thanks, Mom!"
